ผมได้เลือกเพลงนี้ไว้เป็นเพลงแรกเพราะ เพลงนี้บ่งบอกความเป็นเพลงของเขาไว้มากหลายๆเพลงของเขาจะอยู่ในเพลงนี้ด้วย จึงเป็นการแนะนำสั้นๆให้รู้จักกับเขาได้ดีทีเดียว
แม้ว่าการบทเพลงดัดแปลงจะยังคงเป็นใจกลางหลักของบทเพลงเดี่ยวของเครื่องดับเบิ้ลเบส Bottesini ก็ยังคงผลิตงานดัดแปลงจากบทเพลงอื่นให้กับดับเบิ้ลเบสด้วยการใส่แนวการประพันธ์ของเขาลงไป บทเพลงอย่าง Tutto il Mondo Serra แสดงถึงผลงานประเภทเพลง chamber music ไว้ให้กับเครื่องดับเบิ้ลเบส โดยผลงานเหล่านี้ได้ออกแสดงในที่ต่างๆ มากมายในช่วงที่ Bottesini ออกร่วมแสดงไปทั่วยุโรป อเมริกา และแอฟริกาเหนือ รวมถึงเล่นแสดงร่วมกับนักดนตรีมากความสามารถหลายคนในยุคเดียวกับเขา การใช้บทเพลงดัดแปลงได้อนุญาตให้ Bottesini แต่งบทเพลงได้อย่างเสรี สร้างสีที่แตกต่างจากบทเพลงต้นฉบับ และตีความบทเพลงในรูปแบบใหม่ตามแบบฉบับของเขา

เพลงนี้ Bottesini นำ Etudy C# minor op.25 มาจาก Chopin ซึ่งเรียบเรียงให้มือขวาเป็นนักร้อง Soprano มือซ้ายเป็น Double Bass ซึ่งเขาได้แต่งเนื้อร้องเอง และช่วงเริ่มต้นเขาได้เรียน composition กับนักร้องที่สร้างทั้งแบบฝึกหัดและสอนด้านเทคนิคของนักร้องมากมาย
บทเพลง Tutto il Mondo Serra (ทุกสิ่งที่โลกได้ประคองไว้) ซึ่งประพันธ์โดย Giovanni Bottesini (1821-1889) ได้ดัดแปลงมาจากเพลง Etude in C-sharp minor Op. 25 no. 7 ประพันธ์โดย Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) สามารถมองได้เลยว่านำเอาบทเพลงโน้ตต่อโน้ตมาใช้โดยไม่มีการเปลี่ยนหรือตัดดนตรีของต้นฉบับเลย แต่ไม่ได้มีีเจตนาในการแอบอ้างบทเพลงต้นฉบับจากเพลงนี้เรื่องโดยว่าทั้งสองบทเพลงต่างมาจากนักประพันธ์ที่มีอิทธิพลอย่างสูง และควรพิจารณาว่าบทเพลงนี้ได้รับการตีความแบบใหม่โดยตัว Bottesini เองเสียมากกว่า

บทเพลงนี้เขาได้ทำให้เห็นว่าเบสนั้นสามารถที่จะพัฒนาไปได้มากกว่าแค่ทำนอง บางช่วงเบสยังเล่นราวกับเปียโน และเป็นการทำงานร่วมกับเครื่องเป่า ซึ่งการทำงานร่วมกันนั้นแตกต่างกันกับเครื่องสาย ทำให้เราได้เห็นถึงพัฒนาการของทักษะด้านการบรรเลงและการแต่งเพลงของเขาที่มีการร่วมกับเครื่องอื่น

เพลงนี้เขาได้นำทำนองหลัก la sonnambula ของ Bellini มาทำการ Variation เป็นการโชว์ด้านเทคนิคการบรรเลงขั้นสูง มีด้วยกัน 3 Variation ซึ่งแสดงถึงความเป็น Virtuosity.

Selina A. Jones, Piano
Born on 23 October 1996 in ChiangMai (Thailand). She started her first piano lesson when she was 8 years old at YAMAHA music school. Her teacher at the time was Issawara Thaworn. After taking a year in music, she decided to enter YAMAHA music festival piano competition 2008 and got silver prize. Many years later at the age 13 she took ABRSM G.5 and passed. At the age 16 she also took ABRSM G.5 Theory exam and passed. In August 2016 she started her undergraduate program in Piano performance at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute Of Music (PGVIM). She is currently a 3 year piano student at PGVIM and is a student of Dr. Elissa Miller-Kay.
Junjira Mongkolsagulkit, Clarinet
Junjira Mongkolsagulkit Was born in 1994, Bangkok, Thailand. Currently a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Classical Performance at College of Music, Mahidol University under the clarinet instruction of Mr.Grzegorz Grzeszczyk. She started to play clarinet since she was 9 years old in Thai Christian School. In 2009 she entered Royal Thai Army School of music. In 2010-2013 she joined Thai Youth Orchestra. In 2014 she joined Royal Thai Army Symphony orchestra. In 2016 she joined Princess Galyani Vadhana Youth Orchestra. In 2017-2018 she joined Siam Sinfonietta. In last September, she went to Singapore to join YST(Yong Siew Toh Concervatory of Misic) Wind consort: Bandscendence. Honors and Award •Pass through semi-final round in 20th and 21st SET Youth Musician Competition(2017-2018). •Pass through final round in Thailand International Wind Symphony Competition 2018 as Clarinet Quintet (Ekstra Five Clarinet Quintet) in class D.
Wasin Prasertlap, Piano
Award-winning pianist Wasin Prasertlap has performed as a soloist and collaborative musician in Southeast Asia, the US and Eastern Europe. Among his many prizes, he was awarded First Prize at Thailand’s 1st National Piano Concerto Competition and won the Crescendo Summer Institute Chamber Music Competition in Sárospatak, Hungary in 2012. A recipient of the Peabody Scholarship and the Yong Siew Toh Scholarship, Wasin earned a Graduate Performance Diploma and Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory, where he was awarded the Pauline Favin Memorial Award upon graduation. Prior to that, he received the Bachelor of Music in degree in Piano Performance from the National University of Singapore. His former teachers included Benjamin Pasternack, Thomas Hecht, Artas Balakauskas and Indhuon Srikaranonda-Balakauskas. He has additionally been coached by diverse international artists, including Leon Fleisher, Yefim Bronfman, Angela Hewitt, Boris Berman, Martin Helmchen, Peter Frankl, Michael Kannen and Katherine Jacobson Fleisher. In March 2016, Wasin was invited to perform in the concert "Pray for Japan Vol. 8", and in August, he performed Rachmaninov's Paganini Rhapsody with the Thai Youth Orchestra under the baton of Dr. Thaweewet Srinarong. Wasin is now teaching at The Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music and Conservatory of Music of Rangsit University.
